City Circle Acting Company was formed in the summer of 1997 and incorporated as a non-profit organization on January 5^th, 1998. In March of 1998, City Circle was formally adopted by the Coralville City Council.

Our Mission: To present professional caliber theatrical productions and provide educational opportunities for the membership and public.

Our Purpose: The production of high quality dramatic, musical and performing art pieces for the enjoyment of the public. The fundamental source of the production quality comes from the education and training of the membership. We also offer apprenticeship programs and work with educational organizations to create an awareness of the theatre arts within the community. Membership in City Circle is open to all individuals. We are currently affliated with the Recreation Department of the City of Coralville. This partnership has afforded us many opportunities to provide educational programs in theatre to residents of Coralville. In recent years, City Circle has joined forces with area Girl Scouts, the Coralville Aquatic Center, and the Iowa Children's Museum, among others, to continue our educational mission.
